John Horodyski is a Taxonomy Consultant with Earley & Associates.
John Horodyski has a Master of Archival Studies and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of British Columbia, specializing in digital asset management, knowledge management, and information architecture. For the past several years, he has been working in digital asset management and studio production at Electronic Arts as the Worldwide Studios Digital Asset Manager. Previously, John was the Director of a Research firm specializing in litigation research. He also held information management and knowledge management positions with publishing and engineering firms.
John teaches a graduate level course on Digital Asset Management at San Jose State University as part of the School of Library and Information Science. He recently had an article on metadata and digital asset management published last September in the Journal of Digital Asset Management. He has spoken on digital asset management and metadata at several conferences and continues to explore new learning opportunities in content management, taxonomies and web analytics.
