Nick is a former librarian who has spent the past several years developing content organization strategies and work flows using taxonomies, metadata, and the principles of information architecture. He has most recently developed a reference architecture for all information technology roadmaps and standards at a major financial institution. Before that, he led the effort at an aerospace company to classify and label hundreds of thousands of images on a public-facing web site using an intuitive navigation structure, leading to major profits by that company in licensing fees. Nick has also written standards in the realms of XML, digital asset management, and taxonomy and vocabulary management, which were adopted by the enterprise as governance documents.
Nick has an MLIS degree from the University of South Florida.
