Ralph Poole, Senior Consultant
Ralph Poole has extensive executive experience leading Knowledge Management, Executive Education, Business Research, and Content Management consulting projects in global companies. He held senior executive positions in four of the world's premier management consulting and IT consulting firms: Boston Consulting Group, Bain &Company, Ernst &Young LLP, and Capgemini (a French IT consultancy). At Bain he was responsible for business research, knowledge management and learning (from Associate Consultant through Partner). At Ernst & Young and Capgemini, he created the Centre for Business Knowledge and, as Chief Knowledge Officer, led the effort to combine Knowledge, Learning and Methods to improve consultant skills, make learning delivery cost effective and to deliver software development methodologies efficiently.
With projects of this magnitude, all of his interventions involve technology implementation, content management and significant change management components. Ralph is an expert at managing change in large geographically dispersed global organizations. In addition, Ralph has deep experience in strategic and tactical IT planning, IT architecture, software development , Infrastructure development and information architecture. He has designed and delivered knowledge management, learning management, portal and collaboration solutions in Lotus Notes and in all versions of Microsoft SharePoint to large companies, globally. Mr. Poole has project management experience using the Rational Unified Process, Agile techniques, Scrum and XP.
Mr. Poole’s technical acumen does not interfere with his strong commitment to user centric design. His back ground in strategy consulting allows him to take a senior management perspective on costs and resource allocation decisions that are made by executives. He takes a fact-based analytical approach to decision making which is highly appreciated by his clients.
