Rebecca Allen

Rebecca Allen, Taxonomy Consultant

Rebecca holds a Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) from the University of Washington Information School, specializing in information architecture, metadata management, and usability engineering. She has six years experience collaborating on small and large cross-functional projects in a variety of settings and is skilled at implementing solutions where information can make the greatest impact in meeting the strategic needs of business and IT units.
 
Rebecca has broad expertise working with a range of information systems, including content management systems, enterprise intranets, and e-commerce websites. Most recently, she has worked on projects in the non-profit and government sectors, strategizing best practices related to information creation, use, dissemination, and storage. She is affiliated with several professional associations, including IAI (Information Architecture Institute) and UPA (Usability Professionals Association). Her goal for every client engagement is to ensure that the right information can get into the hands of the right people at the right time.
