Stephanie Lemieux is a Taxonomy Consultant with Earley & Associates.
Stephanie has a Masters in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) from McGill University, specializing in knowledge and content management, taxonomy, and information architecture. For the past several years, she has been working on taxonomy & knowledge management contracts and research projects for a variety of clients. She has performed technical evaluations of a variety of tools, including automatic summarization & entity extraction, taxonomy management, and virtual collaboration tools.
Stephanie has recently completed a variety of projects, including the development of a global corporate taxonomy and its implementation in a content management system, the creation of an information architecture for two knowledge portals, the creation of a navigational taxonomy for a large e-commerce website, and an analysis of the use of linguistic analysis tools in thesaurus management. She has experience facilitating training, and has conducted website and taxonomy usability testing.
Stephanie also has experience setting up and managing communities of practice in organizations. She currently supports the Taxonomy Community of Practice, founded by Earley & Associates in 2005, by organizing the monthly conference calls and moderating the community wiki and discussion board.
