Bob Boiko is an expert in Information Strategy, Architecture and Design, Computer Programming, and Systems Architecture and the author of The Content Management Bible. He has many years of experience managing project teams, developing marketing strategies, and implementing training programs. In addition to his consulting work in content strategy and applied taxonomy for Earley & Associates, Bob is the President of Metatorial Services Inc., a consulting firm that provides Information Strategy and Content Management for private, public, and nonprofit companies.Bob’s subject matter expertise covers topics as varied as Linguistics, Biochemistry, Mandarin Chinese, Biology, Physical Oceanography, Aerospace Engineering and Physics.

For over 10 years, Mr. Boiko has presented lectures and conducted workshops in multiple information management subjects such as “Information and Social Media Strategy”, “CM Strategy and Modeling”, “Metadata Primer” and many more. He co-chaired on the board of CM Professionals, a worldwide organization aimed at people who want to learn more about content management from other professionals. http://www.cmprofessionals.org/. Bob is also a faculty member at the University of Utah, teaching in the areas of Information Management, Information Architecture and Taxonomy, Technology, Systems, and Leadership. He sits on the Program and Admissions Comittees for the undergraduate and master’s degrees in Information Science.

Bob received his Master of Science in Human Communication from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Bachelors of Science in Physics (Cum Laude) and Oceanography (Cum Laude) from California State University Humboldt in Arcata, California. He is currently working towards a PhD in the neural bases of language and cognition.
