Carol Choksy

Carol Choksy is currently Chair of the Board of ARMA International. She is a records management consultant, as well as an adjunct professor at the School of Library and Information Science at Indiana University, Bloomington. She has more than 30 years experience with records management in every phase of the records life cycle and in nearly every industry, including federal, state, and local government. She has a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Her focus on taxonomies and classification in her Ph.D. studies continues through her research and consulting. All recent work has involved creating taxonomies to marry business processes to the retention schedule and to ensure success in the management of electronic records using a content management systems.
