Job Description
Earley & Associates seeks a part-time (approximately 20 hours a week) Telemarketing and Inside Sales Representative to help us continue on our high trajectory growth rate. The right person will work primarily from their home location, although face-to-face company internal meetings will be required periodically.
Responsibilities:
- Take inbound sales calls and call prospects from the provided database, explain our company’s offerings and convert leads into qualified opportunities
- Build rapport and accurately position our services and products without sounding “scripted” – we use a consultative selling approach
- Identify and qualify additional prospects from a wide range of enterprise companies
- Obtain and record information about potential customers to be used for sales opportunity follow up calls using Salesforce.com.
- Set up meetings for our direct sales reps and consultants with qualified prospects to discuss potential engagements
- Manage and report weekly activities
- Conduct follow up via phone and email.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing daily performance objectives.
- Comply with our business policies and procedures.
- Attend weekly sales meeting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in inside sales, or telemarketing experience.
- Highly motivated professional with excellent communication, listening, and inter-personal skills
- Team player with a positive attitude, who can also work independently and set own priorities and tasks
- Ability to work uninterrupted and unsupervised from a home office location during regular business hours – you must be able to supply your own computer, Internet connection and telephone with headset (outbound telephone charges will be reimbursed)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; highly proficient at Internet research to understand prospect company business and industry
- Possess the core competencies and behaviors of a business to business inside sales professional, including: professional phone voice and outstanding phone etiquette, prospecting and qualifying skills, identifying and capturing customer needs, articulating Earley & Associates solutions and benefits, converting leads into qualified opportunities
- Some travels to the Earley & Associates office may required (10%)
- Knowledge of our service and technology is plus
- Experiences using Salesforce.com or other lead gen and sales software is plus
