Session 2: Methods and Tools for Better SharePoint Search

Miles Oldrey is a Senior Information Architect who works closely on Semaphore projects and leads the design and functionality of the Semaphore Open Semantic Platform.

Miles has 20 years' experience in data management. Initially in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, Miles worked for leading BI software vendor Comshare and then in the Technology Consulting Group for global systems integrator Cap Gemini. His projects experience cover information portals and CRM applications.

Working with APR Smartlogik he developed his knowledge of enterprise search and information science disciplines and led the development and positioning of the Semaphore Government solution. After a second stint at Cap Gemini as an Information Architect, he returned to Smartlogic to work on large projects and to help position and steer the development of Semaphore.
