Earley Information Science ("EIS,” "we,” "us," "our,") provides online and mobile services, including but not limited to, the EIS website and mobile applications (collectively, the "Site") hosted by or on behalf of EIS (collectively, the "Service") intended to enhance your use of the products and services offered by EIS. EIS is committed to maintaining the privacy, integrity and security of any personal information about our users. This Privacy Policy ("Policy" or “Privacy Statement") explains how we protect personal information we collect in connection with your use of the Service and how we use and in some cases disclose that information. This Privacy Statement is made available to you in order to make you aware of how EIS collects and uses personal identifying information.

C. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

EIS does not make personal identifying information available to third parties for any purpose not approved by you. EIS may use such information to contact you for EIS' marketing purposes.

At times EIS may make certain personal information available to commercial and strategic partners that work with EIS to provide the Services to you, including but not limited to EIS employees and partners. In such cases, we insure that these partners will protect your Personal Information in a manner that meets the terms of this Policy and your EIS User Account will continue to be governed by this Policy.

EIS may also share your personal information with companies who provide services such as information processing, order fulfillment, product delivery, customer data management, customer research, products and services for sale and the like. These companies are obligated to protect your information and may be located wherever EIS does business.

We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our Disclaimers or protect our operations or users or if we are required to do so by any applicable law, rule, regulation, subpoena or other legal process. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.

You may opt out of receiving communications from EIS at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in the body of our emails to you. Any of the personal identifying information collected during the use of the resources may be retained by EIS. Upon selecting to unsubscribe, your system account status will be set to remove your email address from receiving notifications about EIS online resources.

3. Data Security

EIS is committed to taking reasonable steps to protect your personal identifying information from compromise or misuse.

We use a combination of firewall barriers, encryption techniques and authentication procedures, among others, to maintain the security of your data and to protect EIS accounts and systems from unauthorized access.

It is important to understand that these precautions apply only to our Site and systems. We exercise no control over how your information is stored, maintained or displayed by third parties or on third-party sites.

The accuracy of your personal identifying information is important to EIS. We are working on ways to make it practical for you to review and correct the information that EIS maintains about you.

You can also refuse all cookies by turning them off in your browser. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use any area of EIS's website.

6. International Users

EIS's Services are hosted and operated entirely in the United States and are subject to United States law. Any personal information that you provide to EIS is being provided to EIS solely in the United States and will be hosted on United States servers. You consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States. If you are accessing the EIS Services from outside the United States, please be advised that United States law may not offer the same privacy protections as the law of your jurisdiction.

This privacy statement was last updated on: February 17, 2017. We may update this Policy periodically. The date last revised appears at the bottom of the Policy. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
