EIS AI Readiness Assessment
AI Readiness Assessment™

Why Do 80% of Enterprise AI Projects Fail to Scale?

It's not the technology. It's the foundation.

Most organizations have the AI technology figured out. What they're missing is the content infrastructure, operational processes, and governance that make AI actually work at scale. Our AI Readiness Assessments reveal exactly where you need to focus.

From Assessment to Action

Step 1: Choose Your Path

Start with our free Quick Check for a rapid pulse or go directly to the comprehensive Enterprise Assessment for deeper insights.

Step 2: Answer Honestly

Rate your organization on each statement using our 1-5 maturity scale. The assessment works best when you're candid about where you actually are, not where you wish you were.

Step 3: Get Your Scorecard

Receive your personalized scorecard with domain scores, gap identification, and actionable recommendations tailored to your readiness level.

Step 4: Take Action

Use your results to prioritize investments, align stakeholders, and build a roadmap for AI success. Need help? Our consultants can guide you from assessment to implementation.

Understanding Our Assessments

What's the difference between the Quick Check and the Enterprise Assessment?
Think of the Quick Check as a health screening and the Enterprise Assessment as a full diagnostic workup. The Quick Check (12 questions, 5 minutes) gives you a high-level view of your readiness across four domains. The Enterprise Assessment (74 questions, 45-60 minutes) examines all 17 factors in detail, revealing specific gaps and providing a prioritized action plan.
What exactly is a "Scorecard"?
Your Scorecard is the output document you receive after completing either assessment. It includes numerical scores at the domain level (Quick Check) or factor level (Enterprise), overall Readiness Level (Not Ready, Early Stage, Developing, Ready to Scale, or Optimized), visual representations of your scores, and personalized recommendations based on your specific gap patterns.
What is the AI Readiness Framework?
The Framework is our proprietary methodology for evaluating AI readiness, developed from 25+ years of enterprise knowledge management experience. It defines 4 Domains, 17 Factors, and 5 Maturity Levels.
What are the domains and factors?
The 4 Domains include Knowledge, Operational, Technical, and Governance Readiness. The 17 Factors cover the specific capabilities within each domain.
Should I start with the Quick Check or go straight to the Enterprise Assessment?
We recommend starting with the free Quick Check. It takes only 5 minutes and gives you a baseline understanding of where you stand. If your results reveal potential gaps or if you're planning a significant AI initiative, the Enterprise Assessment will provide the detailed insights you need to prioritize investments and align your team.

The Four Domains of AI Readiness

Our Framework evaluates your organization across four critical domains that determine whether AI implementations succeed at scale.

Knowledge Readiness: The Foundation

Is your enterprise knowledge structured, organized, and prepared for AI consumption?

Factors assessed: Knowledge Accessibility, Knowledge Organization, Procedural Accuracy, Applicability Mapping

Common gaps: Scattered content, inconsistent metadata, outdated procedures, missing context

Operational Readiness: The Execution

How well are AI and knowledge operations managed day-to-day?

Factors assessed: SME Workflow Integration, Lifecycle Management, Drift Monitoring, Retrieval Performance, Operational Maturity

Common gaps: SME overload, no review cycles, undetected AI errors, inconsistent retrieval

Technical Readiness: The Infrastructure

Do you have the technical foundation to implement, deploy, and maintain enterprise AI?

Factors assessed: Technical Foundation, Integration & Orchestration, Monitoring & Telemetry, Security & Compliance

Common gaps: Content not indexed for AI, isolated systems, no monitoring, security blind spots

Governance Readiness: The Alignment

Is your organization set up for sustained AI success?

Factors assessed: Governance Structure, Cross-Functional Alignment, Culture & Adoption, Strategy & Investment

Common gaps: No clear ownership, siloed departments, adoption resistance, inconsistent sponsorship
