Taking Knowledge Management to the Next Level

It is time to start thinking about knowledge management differently by going back to basics.

Many new and emerging means of leveraging knowledge are now on the table - think cognitive computing and chatbots.  These tools and new capabilities are being extended outward to the entire enterprise.   However, bad data cannot be thrown into an algorithm and magically produce results for a business process, no matter how “smart” the algorithm is at parsing and organizing information.

In this ebook you'll learn:

  • What’s changed to give KM a new lease on life
  • A roadmap to successfully navigating the change management required for successful KM outcomes
  • How real companies are making KM work to increase access to and use of their most valuable non-human asset – data!

The Critical Element of Foundational Architecture

Recently I chaired the Artificial Intelligence Accelerator Institute Conference in San Jose – in the heart of Silicon Valley.  The event has brought together industry innovators from both large and small organizations, providing a wide range of perspectives. For example, the CEO of AI and ML testing startup of Kolena, Mohamed Elgendy and Srujana Kaddevarmuth, Senior Director, Data & ML Engineering, Customer Products, Walmart Global Tech discussed productization of AI solutions and ways to increase adoption. I especially liked the idea of a model catalogue from which data scientists can retrieve data sets and machine learning models that others have built rather than starting from scratch.
